This necklace has been lovingly handmade from recycled sterling silver to hold an enchanting Somerset Calcite. One of only a few rare crystals that are Native to the British Isles, this Calcite is found in a handful of areas around Somerset, usually discovered in some of the Mendip Hills' areas limestone quarries, of which there are a few scattered throughout the countryside.
This stone has been forming under the earth of the West Country for hundreds of years before being discovered and brought into the sunlight, to be adorned with sacred symbolism & worn by someone special.
