Lepidolite is a type of Mica discovered in the eighteenth century, and this particular Lepidolite is from Brazil. It is associated with independence and the ability to fulfil one's goals without outside help. It is therefore also helpful in protecting us from outside influences and helping us preserve our own space and energy in crowds. Mentally, it helps us focus on what is absolutely essential and neutralise distractions. Physically, Lepidolite is detoxifying and is traditionally placed on the body to soothe nerve pain, sciatica and joint problems.
Selenite is a crystal of pure, white light, reflecting the energy of the moon in it's full radiance. The particle structure of Selenite is so uniform that is emits one of the highest, strongest vibrations in the crystal kingdom and is therefore an incredibly effective cleanser, clearing energetic blockages and raising the vibration of the body or even other stones placed near it. Selenite is often reported to mean "moon stone" but it is more interesting than that, and is actually named after the Greek Goddess Selene~ Titan goddess of the Moon who drove the moon chariot across the sky, bringing light to the darkness.
