Selenite is a crystal of pure, white light, reflecting the energy of the moon in it's full radiance. The particle structure of Selenite is so uniform that is emits one of the highest, strongest vibrations in the crystal kingdom and is therefore an incredibly effective cleanser, clearing subtle blockages and encouraging a less restricted flow of energy. Selenite is often reported to mean "moon stone" but it is in fact named after the Greek Goddess Selene~ Titan goddess of the Moon who drove her moon chariot across the sky, bringing light to the darkness below. Although Hecate and Artemis were also considered moon goddesses, only Selene embodied the Moon itself...
