This special necklace has been handmade to hold a small glass bottle, accompanied by four wooden charms adorned with the alchemical symbols for the four elements: earth, air, water and fire. The cord itself is made from many lengths of brown cotton, twisted by hand into a strong cord with a wooden bead for closure. The bottle is tinted green, the colour of natural earth energies and the fairy folk.
You can fill the bottle with small stones or crystals, sand or soil from a special place, dried herbs, flower petals and seeds, water from a sacred spring or anything you like. Whatever you put in your bottle will carry its own energy and meaning with it and transform your humble little vial into a unique and meaningful spell bottle, which you can change out as and when desired, or add to over time.
