About the Tor Troll...
This is the first Tor Troll I have encountered in the Tenderlands garden and they are a very friendly fellow! He has come all the way from Somerset, travelling underground in a vast network of tunnels carved by his ancestors from the Earths bedrock. He is one of many small trolls that live beneath the Tor in Glastonbury, Somerset. He and his fellow Tor trolls help to protect the Tor and the two sacred springs that filter down through it. They are strong, grounded beings with arms that come right down to the ground, giving them a natural stability and connection to the earth.
He had heard that I was helping to get some other Trolls adopted by people in far off lands and he decided to leave his home in the safety of his fellow Tor trolls (who I am told breed like rabbits so the Tor will never be short of protection!) On his way here he met several friends that live within the tunnels and under the ancient hills and sacred sites of this country. He told me of an old Stonehenge Troll he met in the tunnels under the sacred circle and of several other rare landscape Trolls that guard and protect the wisdom of Stones and Sacred Sites... I hope to meet them someday soon!

Lovingly sewn (both by machine and by hand), this comfort creature is made from soft white faux-fur plush with felt horns and detailing, firmly filled with recycled polyester stuffing with a teeny Green Apophyllite crystal heart sewn into the stuffing in his chest. It is finished with shiny black plastic eyes and nose with a hand stitched smile.
